stepped terraces for a house
single family house (renovation)
Introduction
Stepped terraces is a miniaturized landscape designed to improve the quality of spaces between the street and an existing home.
Cast out of white hammered concrete and screened with a metal gridded guardrail, this project focuses on encapsulating the spirit of travel and exploration within a space that is only the width of a home. By drawing attention to small pocket gardens between shifting stairs, a sense of adventure and playfulness is achieved using very little space.

While the exterior was all about grande moves, the interior focuses on a simple, well detailed wood “liner”
